Gdmi-education.com.au is a comprehensive Guide Dog Mobility Education and Training Course developed by Guide Dogs Queensland in collaboration with Guide Dogs Australia and additional International and Australian Subject Matter Experts. The goal of this course is to provide a standard of GDMI Theory knowledge and practical skills for GDMIs in training which exceeds the current International Guide Dog Federation GDMI Training curriculum requirements, and takes into consideration COMS learning outcomes. 

This course has been developed within the Moodle Learning Management System, which presents the overall course in modules designed to create a modern and innovative learning experience catering to a variety of learning styles through the use of interactive content, PowerPoints, lectures, videos, and quizzes. Moodle also offers student grade transcripts, reporting and gamification features. Part of the GDMI cadetship involves teaching cadets O&M skills, culminating in a client internship where students work with clients to achieve real-world O&M outcomes.
